METHOD TO DETERMINE THE CONCEPTION TIME---Nikhil Gupta

METHOD TO DETERMINE THE CONCEPTION TIME---Nikhil Gupta

Recently, I have completed my research on this extremely rare topic on several charts and decided to share the same on all the forums (more than 15) for the benefit of all.

You would not have even heard of these rules as it is the part of one of the researches made by me, by the grace of God.

It is said that conception time is even more vital than the birth time in all the respects and therefore holds an extreme importance, especially in the modern context.

Benefits of conception chart:

1) To detect various kind of pregnancies complications and take necessary precautions for the benefit of the mother, child and society as a whole.
2) Accurate dating of pregnancy is important, because it is used in calculating the results of various prenatal tests (for example, in the triple test). A decision may be made to induce labor if a fetus is perceived to be overdue. Furthermore, if LMP and ultrasound dating predict different respective due dates, with the latter being later, this might signify slowed fetal growth and therefore require closer review.
3) To have a detailed sketch of the whole life pattern of the native’s life and fortune just like the birth chart.
4) To determine the detailed character and personality of the unborn native or who would be born after 9 months (ideally).
5) There are many other mind boggling & hidden benefits (including medical benefits), which I cannot list here as that information could be misused by many.

Though there are 2-3 methods to determine this time which are given in BPHS but unfortunately due to translational or time bound errors or in my experience, were not effective.

As a result I was compelled to discover a new method by the grace of GOD, to determine this precious time.

So without wasting any more time, let me list the steps which are to be followed to determine this time:

1) One should be aware of his/her birth time.

To establish the correct month and week, one should be aware of the following information:

2) The expected date of delivery (EDD) is 40 weeks counting from the first day of the last menstrual period (LMP), and birth usually occurs between 37 and 42 weeks. Though pregnancy begins at implantation, it is more convenient to date from the first day of a woman's last menstrual period, or from the date of conception if known. Starting from one of these dates, the expected date of delivery can be calculated using the Naegele's rule for estimating date of delivery. A more sophisticated algorithm takes into account other variables, such as whether this is the first or subsequent child (i.e., pregnant woman is a primip or a multip, respectively), ethnicity, parental age, length of menstrual cycle, and menstrual regularity.
There is a standard deviation of 8-9 days surrounding due dates calculated with even the most accurate methods. This means that fewer than 5% of births occur at exactly 40 weeks; 50% of births are within a week of this duration, and about 80% are within 2 weeks. It is much more useful and accurate, therefore, to consider a range of due dates, rather than one specific day, with some online due date calculators providing this information.
Pregnancy is considered "at term" when gestation attains 37 complete weeks but is less than 42 (between 259 and 294 days since LMP). Events before completion of 37 weeks (259 days) are considered preterm; from week 42 (294 days) events are considered postterm. When a pregnancy exceeds 42 weeks (294 days), the risk of complications for both the woman and the fetus increases significantly. As such, obstetricians usually prefer to induce labor, in an uncomplicated pregnancy, at some stage between 41 and 42 weeks.

3) Information and details provided by one’s parents/family doctor could be of great help. Like as per the information provided by my mother, I was born just 1 or 2 days after the completion of 9 months.

To establish the exact date:

4) Note the Moon’s Tithi at the time of the birth, Then SUBTRACT 9 TITHI”S from the birth tithi to the get the tithi of the Conception chart.

For example: My DOB: 02nd Nov 1984, 09:13:25AM, Delhi.

I was born in the initial minutes of Dashmi of Shukla Paksha (10th day of bright half).
i.e. till 09:09 am of 2nd Nov 1984, it was Shukla Paksha navami (9th day of bright half) and from 09:10 am(approx) Dashmi started and I was born at 09:13:25am.(Just 3-4 minutes after the dashmi or 10th bright half started)

So after subtracting 9 tithi’s from the above, we will land into Pratipada of Shukla Paksha (1st day of bright half).

In other words, at the time of my conception, Pratipada of Shukla Paksha (1st day of bright half) was evident.

5) Note the week day at the time of your birth. Then take the previous weekday as the weekday at the time of your conception.
For example I was born on Friday, so the calculation is simple, at the time of my conception, weekday would be Thursday.

6) Note the Moon nakshatra at the time of your birth. Now MOON will occupy the SAME NAKSHATRA at the time of conception. (Yes padas may vary but Moon Nakshatra would be the same).
For example: my birth Moon nakshatra is Dhanishtha (4th pada), Now the pada may vary but moon will certainly be in the Dhanishtha nakshatra at the time of my conception.

7) Moving Further, Not only the moon nakshatra but the MOON’s RASHI also will be the same at the time of conception.
For example: The sign which is occupied by my Moon is Aquarius. So moon would be present in the same sign at the time of my conception i.e. Aquarius.

8) If Venus is ahead of mercury in terms of degree at the time of birth then at the time of conception Mercury would be ahead of Venus in terms of degree. The Vice versa is also applicable.
For example: In my birth chart Venus is placed in lagan at 22 degree 03 minutes and mercury is placed in Libra at 29 degree 53 minutes. So at the time of my conception mercury would be ahead of Venus. The exact degree gap between the two planets may vary from chart to chart.

To establish the exact Hour:

9) Note down the Dominant lagan Rashi at the time of the birth from the cusp chart. Note as per the cusp chart there could be a presence 1 or 2 rashi’s in the birth lagan. Like For example if I am born at 19 degree (approx) of Scorpio lagan then we can easily say that my lagan has 11 degree component of Scorpio rashi and left 19 degree component of Sagittarius rashi (the next sign after Scorpio). In this way I can say that the dominant lagan rashi of my birth chart is Sagittarius (Since 19 degrees>11 degrees).
In fact this is the reason why the swarashi Jupiter which is placed in the 2nd house of my chart is actually giving its effect in lagan along with Venus.

Hence at the time of the conception, the rising dominant sign would be Sagittarius.

In case, if the ascendant degree is 0 degree Scorpio, then straightaway the dominant sign would be Scorpio.

In case someone is born on 15th degree of Scorpio, then both Scorpio and Sagittarius signs have equal probability of taking the role of rising sign at the time of conception (this ambiguity will be sorted out when all the rules are simultaneously applied.)

10) Atmakaraka will remain the same, i.e. if in my birth chart mercury is the planet having the highest degree (29 degree 53 minutes), then at the time of my conception too, mercury would be the Atmakaraka (i.e. planet with the highest degree in any sign). Yes the degree of mercury may not be exactly same.

To establish the exact time:

Till now, all the steps were very simple for you all but this is the most cumbersome process.

Anyways you all should not worry because I will simplify it for you all.

It mainly involves 3 steps:

First to fix the D-9 chart and then to fix the D-60 and D-108 chart.

Everybody cannot carry out the last 2 steps, because birth times of most of the people are not corrected up to the D-60 and D-108 chart. This would indirectly mean the accuracy till the last minute and sometimes seconds.

Process is quite simple:

11) Note down the planet placed in Kendra and trikond of your navamsa chart (D-9).

12) Now try to take that navamsa chart within the scope of 1 hr or 2hr (Time till the Lagan rashi do not change and all the above mentioned rules are intact) in which planets occupying the Kendra and trikond are same when compared to D-9 chart corresponding to the birth chart.

Again let me take my example to make you understand: Mercury is the only planet placed in the Kendra of my navamsa chart. It is in Mithun (Gemini) rashi in 7th house of D-9 chart.
Jupiter and ketu are the only 2 planets present in the Trikond of my navamsa chart i.e. they are placed in Leo in 9th house of my D-9 chart.

In other words when I am fixing the navamsa chart of my conception chart at least Jupiter should be in trikond (1st, 5th and 9th houses of navamsa chart) and mercury should be in Kendra (1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses) of my Navamsa chart.

I could have also placed my Jupiter in 5th or 9th houses of navamsa chart but that would result into the violation of other rules which I had mentioned above.

13) The same alignment technique has to be employed to fix the D-60 chart.

Like For example: In the D-60 chart corresponding to my birth chart, Venus is placed in 7th house in cancer, Mars is placed in 4th house in Aries, Saturn and moon are placed in 10th house in Libra, and mercury is placed in Virgo in 9th house.

So we have to search the D-60 chart (within the scope of D-9 chart which changes after every 10-15 minutes) which gives us maximum possible alignment with the above mentioned planetary placements.

Let me now disclose my conception details:

03rd Feb 1984
04:30:25am
Delhi

As per this timing, Moon is present in Aquarius lagan in D-60 chart, and Venus and mars are placed in 7th house. I.e. Moon, Venus and mars are occupying the Kendra positions in both my D-60 chart of birth and conception.

Remember we should not look for exact positions, rashi placements to carry out alignment process w.r.t D-9 and D-60 chart as TWO charts can never be exactly similar.

I will not list the fixation of D-108 chart in the context of Conception time as that is not needed.

03rd Feb 1984
04:30:25am
Delhi

The above derived result also takes care of the information provided by my mother that I was born just 1 or 2 days after the completion of 9 months.
